Zac Efron says girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens “outshines” all other women. The 20-year-old actor - who has been dating Vanessa since they starred alongside each other in 2006 movie ‘High School Musical’ - immediately knew that Vanessa was the one for him.
He said: “Vanessa caught my eye straight away. She simply outshines all other girls because of her strong personality. I don’t know if I believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in two people having chemistry straight away. I don’t know what it was with Vanessa but we kind of clicked from the very beginning. She is not just a lovely girl, she is also a sexy and desirable woman!”
Zac also revealed one of the most attractive things about Vanessa is her sense of humour.
He added: “Vanessa is just a wonderful person. I can laugh and talk with her and, most of all, we have loads of fun!”

Riding the success of Disney’s wildly-popular “High School Musical” franchise, actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens brought her teen-friendly act to the Cal Expo Golden One stage at the California State Fair Friday. Local fans came out to see the 19-year-old pop princess, who played shy student Gabriella Montez in the massive teen hits “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2.” “High School Musical 3″ hits theatres this October.
Hudgens, a Salinas native, used her new-found popularity to secure a recording contract and has recorded two albums. Her latest, “Identified,” was released last month.

The faces of Zac Efron and his fellow Wildcats from Disney’s “High School Musical” adorn lunch boxes, backpacks and folders of school kids all across the country. “High School Musical” is big business for Disney, and the next musical, “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” promises to be even bigger than the first two movies. For starters, “HSM3″ will hit theaters on October 24, instead of debuting on the Disney Channel like the first two movies. And the budget for the big screen flick is larger, which promises more glitz and glamour from our favorite high school students.
Celebrity News Service wasn’t surprised to hear Zac Efron, who plays Troy Bolton in the Disney franchise, say it would be the last movie for the gang. They are, after all, growing up and ready to move on: can anyone say “College Musical: Freshman Year”? Here are a few facts on the new “HSM3,” coming soon to a theater near you:
1) The new film will debut 10 original songs.
2) The budget for the movie is bigger at almost $30 million, up from “HSM2’s” $6 million budget.
3) The movie will feature lots of costume changes for Sharpay Evans, played by Ashley Tisdale.
And now for the most important part, the plot: the Wildcats head into their senior year and will face the daunting task of surviving the prom, the big game, a spring musical, and graduation. The seniors will also face picking out colleges. Troy and Gabriella will get into different schools, which will threaten the course of their true love.
Sound sappy? That is exactly what made the first two movies successful, that and some cute song-and-dance numbers and Efron’s puppy dog eyes - and that’s exactly what Disney fans want.
